The SOFTMANBOT project is progressing at a good pace. We asked to AIJU to share with us the latest updates from their perspective. “In this last period, we have focused on the development of algorithms related to the acquisition of trajectories, to obtain data from the movements of the operators, the detection of the mould and its hole for demoulding, and the detection of the parts of the doll for their assembly. In addition, we are working to create a communication system between the robot and the tool that will allow us to control all the functions from the robot program. In this way, the robot will be able to extract the parts from the moulds and then assemble them without the need of external agents.
