Alberto Landini, Project Manager of STAM, delivered a speech titled “Ditalisation & robotisation of garment making & other textile assemblies: the SoftManBot approach” at the 16th Textile ETP Annual Conference, that took place in Brussels on 20-21 April 2022, at the Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre.
This prestigious event is organised by the European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing (Textile ETP) and was combined with the final conference of the SmartX project as well as the annual General Assembly of the Textile ETP.
Alberto presented the experience gained by STAM within SOFTMANBOT project in the context of robotics applied to the textile industry, highlighting the lessons learnt from an SME perspective.
Alberto’s participation counted also on Stam long experience on robotics and industrial automation, to stimulate discussion on possible future trends in a complex and challenging environment such as the textile industry.
